Winter in Hotel Le Cassini

Hotel Le Cassini is an ideal place for skiers or boarders.  We are right in between two big skiing areas with guaranteed snow, e.g. Les2Alpes and Alpe d'Huez.  Each skiing resort makes up for about 200 kilometers of slopes each and - thanks to their height (Les2Alpes up to 3600m) and their glaciers - you can be sure there will be snow during the whole winter.
During the Winter of 2007 a lot of other skiing areas were struggling to keep their slopes open, but over here it was great skiing from Christmas till well after Easter!
The hotel lies just fifteen minutes from each of these skiing areas. For the real freaks, the nearby completely off-piste skiing area of La Grave will be a real challenge!


If you stay with us, you get till up to 20% reduction on your lift passes for both the areas!
We work with Twinner Sport Emotion in Les 2 Alpes for the rental of your equipment, they give our clients a reduction of 20%.  The shop is idealy situated at the beginning of the station, nearby the lift pass ticket office and the first lifts.

Want to go for a short ski break in the French Alps? In our hotel, you can arrive and leave at any day of the week.  Perfect for a weekend ski or a midweek of skiing. We don't have any minimum stays or fixed arrival dates.  And with our reduction vouchers for the skilifts of Les Deux Alps or Alpes d'Huez, you will ski at a great price, even during your shorter stays!  During Winter: Short-Ski Gourmande
During the winter season, we organise our Short-ski Gourmande-Formula. We invite you to a short ski of four days in March, from Thursday till Monday. Chef Dirk will prepare for you every evening a gastronomic four-course dinner, for four days long!
From 13th till 17th of March and from 20th till the 24th of March.

... and in summertime

During the summer it is great to hike in the magnificent nature reserve of Les Ecrins. Cycling fans can enjoy the four mythical cols in the direct environment of the hotel (e.g. Alpe d’Huez and Col du Galibier). For the real daredevils there is the possibility to raft the Isère, parapente, mountaineering, mountain-bike racing and even benji jumping. Or why not just relax in our lovely garden, next to the tumbling river.
