During summer there are plenty of activities in the Oisans region. For the cycling amateurs there are of course all the famous cols to climb: Alpe d'Huez, Galibier, Lautaret, Croix de Fer, Telegraphe, Les2Alpes, Glandon, Ornon... Hotel Le Cassini lies right in the middle of all these famous peaks.
If you come cycling yourself, you can put your bikes in our garage for free. 


The highlights are of course  'La Marmotte' -a race of 174km over four cols- which passes the hotel and the 'Tour de France'.

At the end of August, there is also the Marco Pantani Memorial, a tour of 120km, which starts before the hotel and finishes in Les 2 Alpes. Look also at www.bike-oisans.com for all the other biking activities in the neighborhood.

The real Dare-devils can enjoy themselves for sure in the region.  We can propose you a range of dare devil activities from mountain bike to rafting, quad or canyoning, paragliding or 'The Benji Jump' (the highest in Europe: 140m, up to 120 miles per hour)

Also for the quiet easy-going persons, there is a lot to experience in the Oisans.  Visit one of the plenty picturesque villages in the region, eg. the art village of Venosc, or take the lift to 3200m to enjoy the magnificent view and visit the beautiful 'Grotte de Glace' How about a walk in the National Park of Les Ecrins or one of the other hikes in the neighborhood - for all levels - or have a refreshing swim in the Lac du Chambon or come over just to relax in our private garden.
