 Just north of the hotel lies the GR54, also known as Le Tour de l'Oisans over the Col de Sarrenne towards the beautiful 'Plateau d'Emparis'.
In the Parc National des Ecrins, south of Le Freney, there are many marked hiking trails for all difficulty levels.
East you'll find the picturesque village of Besse, where the hike towards the Plateau d'Emparis. You can also walk from the Col du Lautaret into the National Park.
Go to search for the marmottes at the Lauvitel Lake or enjoy the beautiful views from Col du Laurichard or the Tete de la Maye.
